Use the GOP tab in vPrism to examine a video's group-of-pictures structure. Review reference distance, GOP size and whether it is fixed, frame counts by type with percentages, and a tabular view of the frame structure, then export the data for analysis or presentation.

Load a video and click the GOP tab to examine its frame structure.

The Summary section reports the reference distance (the number of frames between a predicted frame and its reference), the GOP size (the number of frames in a group, from one I-frame to the next), and whether the GOP size is fixed.

The Frame Count section shows how many frames are in the video in total, along with how many of each frame type it contains and their percentages.

Below that, a tabular view of the frame structure is presented, with the starting frame number of each GOP shown in green.

The Export button lets you export the data for external analysis or presentation.
