Export Frames: Render Exhibits and Stills
Render specific frames for external analysis or to create exhibits with the Export Frames tool in vPrism. Choose lossless PNG, BMP, or TIFF, or JPEG with a quality setting, and export a single frame, a range, or all frames with an automatic filename prefix.
Transcript
Upon completion of analysis and processing, specific frames can be rendered for external analysis or to create exhibits.
To do so, click Render in the Tool Panel and select Export Frames.
Select PNG, BMP, or TIFF to export losslessly, or JPEG to reduce file size.
When JPEG is selected, a quality setting becomes available. The maximum value is 100, but the resulting file size will be quite large. Reducing quality to 85 generally yields a file roughly a quarter of that size, with minimal visible difference.
Choose to export a "Single" frame, a "Range" of frames, or "All" frames.
When "Range" or "All" is selected, the option to enter a filename prefix is presented. The appropriate frame number will be appended to that prefix for every image created.
Exporting frames is an essential part of video analysis, and vPrism keeps the process straightforward and the results organized.
